How long have you been a photographer?
I've been a photographer for 3 years now and and a wedding photographer for 3 years too.

How did you get into wedding photography?
I always wanted to be a lawyer and I was studying law at UCLA but I wasn't happy. When we, that is my boyfriend decided to get married, we thought about a destination wedding in Hawaii so my search for a wedding photographer began. It was then that I decided I wanted to be a wedding photographer. I fell in love with many wedding images I came across whilst looking for my own wedding photograher. So that's how it all began.

I do around 20 to 30 weddings

What are the challenges you face at a wedding?
Weddings are stressful with lots of pressure. Anticipating moments and capturing those key moments are the challenges faced at every wedding.

What equipment do you use?
I have the Canon 5D MKII

Do you have any other lighting equipment for the day?
I always use natural light, so no. I will bring out my flash for the evening reception when there us little or no available light. I prefer not to use flash if I can get away with it.

Do you have any assistants with you on the day?
Yes. My husband JD is always by my side.

How many images do you shoot at a typical wedding?
I'd say we take around 2000-3000. They are trimmed down in post and the client will see about 900.

Do you use photoshop?
Of course. Every photographer uses photoshop, the trick is knowing how much to use it.
